It is a great pleasure to welcome you to Gomati District Polytechnic, Fulkumari, Udaipur, Gomati Tripura, an Institute that is located at the cityof lakes and temples, Udaipur, and owing its name to the river Gomati flowing beside the city of Udaipur.

I feel proud and privileged to be a part of such a vibrant and magnificent Institution that thrives to offer enormous skills and opportunities. I gratefully acknowledge the vigorous service rendered by the visionary predecessors, dedicated faculties and staffs who have worked and are working selflessly and tirelessly to bring honor to this Institute and for the betterment of the students.

The Institute takes pride in its teaching and learning methodologies setting its own standards and expectations. Recently, the Institute has witnessed strong blend of technology and intertwined human resource committed to impart technical education with thrust on creativity and innovation. Theencouraging and motivating environment in Gomati District Polytechnic for knowledge acquiring and its dissemination with a sense of honesty, human values and social responsibility has carved a niche for itself. The academic standards continue to improve year on year and the teachinglearning process is devised to engage and inspire the students with the necessary skills and knowledge to flourish in an ever-changing world. The special emphasis is on helping the students gain ah excellent theoretical knowledge base which can be utilized in practical and developmental skills. To inculcate various skills, the students are encouraged to attend or participate in seminars, workshops, presentations, quiz competitions, etc. Apart from these, the Institute lays its stress not just on academic excellence but also on "character formation and personality grooming". These are complementedby the provision of sports, co-curricular and extracurricular activities to enrich their academic and social lives.

I am confident that the students will have an interesting and memorable experience in our Institute and I hope it will be the best career foundation of their lives.
